The NY6 has a contract to supply one spot to g5. No contract for Indy
The highest-ranked champion from the "Group of Five" conferences (American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West, and Sun Belt) is guaranteed a berth if the group's top team is not in the playoff.
That one slot will always be filled by G5. Never by BYU. BYU would need to take away a P5 slot.
Now I ask. Do u think the power conferences will ever allow that to happen?
