kids at games has been wonderful over the years. Of course that means the parents need to make sure the kids have napped, and in some cases bring the types of headphones that are used when shooting. I have never had a bad experience with a kid at a game.
A 1 YEAR OLD behind us last week giggled and laughed a lot. She ended up taking off her headphones, and seemed to enjoy the noise and crowd. I suspect she had a good nap because she had more energy by the end of the game than I did:)
RENO MAHE came out of the locker room with a fresh flower lei. He took it off and put in around daughter's neck telling her how pretty she was. She hung that lei on her bedroom mirror for months. He was my teenaged daughter's first love!!
BYU V AFA NOISE-We were there when the ref keep penalizing the crowd for the noise. The following week, in protest, the crowd was asked to jingle their keys instead of shouting. It was really funny to see an exaggerated crowd being so quiet so that all you could hear were keys jingling and my toddler cheering.
MY OLDEST SON loved going to the Marriott Center during the Frank Arnold days. He was fascinated with the crowd, even when he was just weeks old. He credits those games throughout his childhood for love of attending sporting events today. He is nerdy scientist who is not interested in the athletics as much as he is in the stadium experience. He now has season tickets to the MLB Giants.
I COULD GO ON ABOUT EACH OF MY CHILDREN and their experiences. THEY ALL LOVED IT AND WERE ON THEIR BEST BEHAVIOR, and taking them to games was an important part of our family experiences.
