Pulled up to a house in Mesa to do a pickup for work and the guy was out trimming his bushes decked out in full asu gear. Had the little asu yard flag out and the American flag type with the asu logo and maroon ad gold stripes.

When I pull up he makes a comment about my stretch y front plate and so I nicely ask if we can still be friends.

Walk in the house and his three year old is decked out in asu cheerleader uniform and hat. He breaks it to her that I am a byu fan and she seems almost heartbroken knowing there is a cougar fan in the house.

Of course I have to make the comment about raising your children right seeing as how he is obviously a member.

He actually went to byu a while with his wife. Said the only game he we to while there was the 3-0 debacle and was hoping he would bring asu the same luck last week when he attended in Provo.

Anyway, somewhere out there in Mesa there are two dads making an enormous impact on future generations - one for evil the other for good.
