Too many fans on CB were talking as though a blowout win was a foregone conclusion. Lots of people were very dismissive of USF - a team that completely outplayed us in 2019.

For the bulk of the game, the only thing that could get USF’s offense off the field was the end zone. If a football field was 200 or 300 yards, there’s little evidence we would’ve been able to get USF off the field. Kudos to them for not quitting and not giving up.

USU will be ready for us next week. They have 2 very athletic QBs who will be chomping at the bit after they watch film of tonight’s defense. Without Pili and other key players, they’ll move the chains and extend plays with their legs.
