But by the end of the game they were slowly pushing our tired, depleted defense around. All they wanted was more time and more possessions. But they didn’t have it.
When you have the lead, you don’t want more possessions in the game. You want the game to end with you on top and without the opponent having any extra opportunities to come back.
We’ve been better in the first half than the 2nd in every game. Short games and few possessions are our friends.
