Actually a pretty misleading stat as opposed to “telling”. That stat would imply that our offense was shut down by USF
or maybe that they were at any time in a position to drive to tie or win the game. Neither of which is true.
The defense let them score three second half TDs, which is horrible. But that’s all there is to what that stat cam accurately tell.
Offense continued to drive on them easily, and due to two bad throws and a special-teams failure, were “stopped” only once.
