We just couldn’t get a stop, let them have super long time consuming drives. They got every 4th down conversion attempt and almost every 3rd down conversion attempt. Out backups got exposed - there is a big drop off from 1st to 3rd stringers.

And our offense muffed on one of the 3 drives it had in the 2nd half, largely due to playcalling near the end zone and a horrible block FG.

It was an Ugly, very boring 2nd half of football.

I think there is reason to be concerned going forward. Bywater is not close to Pili. The DL and LBs repeatedly missed tackles, took bad angles. They made that QB look like an all star. And this is not a good USF team. I think we can and should have some concern going forward.

However, I do agree with the OP that calling for Tuiaki’s head, or calling this team an embarrassment says more about the people saying that than it does about the game
