For the hand wringers: BYU won. #5 Iowa had a 10 pt win over CSU. #7 Clemson
got beat by an unranked team.
#14 Iowa St. got beat by an unranked team.
#19 Michigan won a 1-score game over unranked Rutgers
#23 Auburn needed a controversial refs call to put Georgia Southern away.
D1 football is tough and some matchups are better than others. Relax a bit about a win where BYU took the foot off the gas early. If nothing else, the coaches have plenty of ammunition for the players about playing all 4 quarters against everyone.
