Agree with this. Unless there’s a reason to buy ahead, I usually wait until day of and even the afternoon of the game
and you’ll see a drop most games. You have to have the stomach to pull the trigger though if prices stay high and you really want to go. Very rarely does buying early make economic sense, but it does give you some piece of mind.

I just sold some tickets to a hockey game tonight, for example, and I started them at $60, dropped them this morning to $40, and then finally two hours before the game dropped them to $25 and they finally sold.
