I interviewed for a job in February, was told I had the job in March, HR called
in June. HR departments are not innocent.
One more example, I was asked to apply internally for a job a month ago, had the interview 2 weeks ago, the interviewer has repeatedly told me it's hung up in HR. I still haven't heard anything and am missing out on shadowing a guy who has worked in the position for 30+ years and is a legend in my industry.
Yeah, people are flaky, but look at your HR department. Our company has lost many entry level hires due to our HR department taking their sweet time.
