I was at one of the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament home matches against Texas in 2018 and while we we were waiting for the doors open I overheard Tom Holmoe talking with a couple about the navy vs. royal issue. Tom Holmoe said that the reason they haven’t gone fully to royal is that navy sells better. There might be other reasons, too, but I thought that was interesting. I love both colors and am glad that we mix it up!
