That's quite a false dichotomy - strawman fallacy you've set up there.
I really don't mind all of the combos and variations - it's kind of fun. But when I think of the tens of thousands of dollars, maybe over a hundred thousand dollars wasted on this, I just don't feel good about it. I really don't. I guess I've just had too much THRIFTY engrained into my value system.
Do I believe that having 2 uniform sets to mix and match versus 3 or 4 makes the difference on scoring a recruit or not? I don't. I really don't. I think MANY of the other perks, like the new locker room, and the quick recovery systems, and the NIL deals, etc. make a difference; you bet! Having more uniform combos? No. Do players like it better? SURE! Why wouldn't they? Will it make the difference in whether they commit or not? Goodness gracious, I hope not. Not sure I'd even want that kind of player. That has got to be nearly the worst possible reason/difference maker I can imagine.
