I know it’s frustrating to wonder what’s going to happen and feel like we’re not getting the truth from our coaches re: injuries…
BUT
It’s infinitely more frustrating for opposing coaches.
With limited practice time (I don’t mean a short week; I just mean they only have so much time to prepare in general. Less than they used to) they have to use that time run film, install, and practice for what they think they are most likely to see. You can’t do it all. Or at least you can do it all well. You have to prioritize your hours with the players to what you think will help most.
When you have an excellent running QB as part of that mix it forces you to do more, at the sacrifice of something else. So keep the threat of him around till game time.
And when it bugs you, just remember what it’s doing to BSU and turn that frustration into schadenfreude. 👍🏻
