84 when we’ve lost a game I feel like the season is essentially over. No shot at the National title or a good bowl game. I know it’s stupid, but it’s pretty much true.

Beating Utah was always a saving grace at the end of the season.

But the first loss always cuts deep. The rest of the losses won’t hurt as much to me because I’ve already given up hope on the perfect season.

I hate the system in place. I love college football but I can’t stand the way it chooses champions. Hate it. I almost hate the 4-team playoff more than the previous system. It’s boring.
