Funny story, at least to me. Steve was the JV coach the first year I tried to

walk on the basketball team. I made it to the final 20 cut and they kept 10. The next summer I see him at a store in the mall and ask him if he is going to be coaching the JV team again. He say "no, they fired me".

I poked him in the chest and said "that is because you cut me"
