Neighbor created quite a stir in the neighborhood with her post on Nextdoor
She posted a plea asking for help in finding her son. Said he was the most popular kid in the neighborhood, and gave the coordinates and date of where/ when he was last seen. She closed the post by stating he is her only son. She offered no physical description or anything about his age, etc. She did, however, include a pic of a cat.

Anyway, people start asking all kinds of questions about his appearance and physical description, with a few asking why she posted a pic of her cat and not her son.

Turned out, her “son” was her cat. When that became apparent, people were upset as they thought her “son” may have been kidnapped, and why would she refer to her cat as her son. Then a whole group started defending her use of “son” in describing her cat.
