For the “nothing left to play for crowd”:
BYU just needs to climb 7-8 spots in the polls to be back in NY6 consideration. If BYU wins the rest of their games this is a probable situation.
A 10 win season would make for the first back to back double digit win seasons since 2008-2009. Would also make for only the 4th time in program history to put together a string of 10 win seasons.
Wins against WSU and USC would leave BYU with the best conference record in the PAC12 and as undisputed south division champs.
A win against Baylor, who is surprisingly one of the best teams in the Big12 this year, would show that BYU both belongs in the conference and is ready to hold their own within the conference.
The list goes on my friends, but there is so much left to play for.
