It’s somewhat more fun to watch when there is some bonus prize later in the season, bit it really is jus a “bonus”. Just watching great competition and being at a similar caliber competitively with the best teams is fun and exciting. Like you I can’t understand the mentality of “now there’s nothing to play for” that was often a big part of the argument for the crowd begging to go back to the MWC, as if some conference championship game made everything WAY better. I just like playing great teams and beating many of them. We will lose many, so what, we beat enough of the Wisconsin’s, Miami’s, Texas and USC, and Oklahoma’s to make being a cougar fan awesome and exciting.
