How can rich owners be so stupid with team names? There are the illogically
retained names, like the Jazz and the Grizzlies. And then there are plainly stupid names, like the Guardians. I have no doubt that the Washington Football team will get a dumb name also. I heard that Red Wolves is the favorite. Ridiculous.
The Los Angeles Lakers doesn't grate because it has alliteration. Plus, there ARE lakes in the Los Angeles area.
