See this is what's wrong today, people think that if someone makes a mistake with their words, they need to be erased
and can't be trusted to do their job. That is the definition of cancel culture.

If i had a coach, who sent an email, or a note home to me, and told me that my kid was either a "r-word" or needed therapy, I might go kick his butt, or even turn him in to the league for punishment. (my kid drove lots of t-ball and soccer coaches crazy before we knew what his deal was)

But if same coach said in an email, to someone else, while not involved with our leauge, across the country that he really hated workign with "r-word" or special needs kids, and somehow that email was published by the NYTs? if that coach had only been good to my Aspie kid, I couldn't care less. I let him keep playing for him.

And my argument is that actions speak louder than words, and that emails do not necessarily represent the man that players and coaches over 15 years of coaching in the NFL have dealt with. In fact, I do now have one player (KJ) who says he's a 'bad man' out of alllll the players and people who now have a forum to jump into and say "he was mean to me toooo"
