I cringed when it became obvious that that was going to be where he ended up. It's an insecure, angry, and IMO generally ignorant fan base. Most fan bases would have said, "Okay, the next three or four years are going to be a fun ride," and set at least somewhat realistic expectations. That's not Jets fans.
I laughed when they all came to his defense when his mom was posting all that controversial stuff on social media. He was their qb messiah, up until the point where he threw his first regular season interception. If that cycle happened now, they'd be screaming for Zach and Joe Douglas to be buried in the same unmarked grave.
