A major league sports pet peeve of mine: There are too many regular season
games, and too much access to the playoffs.

MLB should have 100 regular season games, and only eight teams in the playoffs. Go back to one wild card. Seed by divisions, or go by records. I don't care.

The NBA should have a 50 game regular season, with no back to back games, and only one wild card, for a total of eight teams in the playoffs.

The NFL should go back to 16 regular season games, and only division winners should be in the playoffs, for a total of eight teams.

It's just greed. Both players and owners. Keep extending, keep adding. You've heard of mission creep? This is revenue creep.

Adding to the regular season and expanding playoff access diminish the value of regular season games.

As long as the fans keep rolling over for these fat cats, it will continue.

Stop being chumps.
