My Texas friends rave about this place- but it's just weird
They built one in Georgia so we stopped to/from Orlando last summer- because Texas friends said we HAD to. We tried it twice to not get a biased opinion. It is huge- which is impressive, but pointless. I've never waited for a gas pump when on a road trip, so having lots of gas pumps isn't really a strong differentiator.
Aside from being unusually large, it is weird and sort of a bandwagon store. People only stop there because people say they need to stop there. Then they see hundreds of people at a gas station and think- wow this place is so popular it must be awesome.
But they sell brisket sandwiches!- if you want to wait in line 20 minutes. But they have bathrooms!- with no soap or paper towels. No! the bathrooms are the cleanest in the world. I fear for Texans that make the 'cleanest bathrooms' claim. They maybe need to get out of their state more. They have regular truck stop clean bathrooms with wider isles. The Dr. Pepper slush was nice. Would I avoid the place-no. Would I go out of the way to stop there- absolutely not. Would I buy and wear a T-shirt advertising a gas station with a woodchuck on it- I'll pass.

Hope he loaded up on jerky. Buc ees' is hands down the best selection in the entire universe as well as fountain soda
