Have a close friend who was big into gaming. Like world ranked big. He'd have guys ask for tutorials and is a nice guy, so he'd do these virtual training sessions for free. He had a number of these trainees throw Bitcoin his way. They were literally worth pennies at the time, so he didn't think anything of it, just saved the files to a jump drive (back then it was literally just a file of code), which was lost when he went on his mission. There were hundreds of Bitcoin on that flash drive and they've been lost forever. At the height of Bitcoin, he thinks they were worth ~$12M.
