ASU was always going to be the tougher game.
USC is in a bad place right now. They have a lame duck coaching staff and nothing significant to play for for the rest of the season. This is the year for the rest of the conference to get their shots in.
Arizona St. is a better team than USC, and they have all the motivation you could ask for. Plus, if Utah's going to have an emotional letdown after dealing with all of the Aaron Lowe stuff, it'll be this week.
