Honestly if you're just looking at rankings this season Cincy > Oklahoma and BYU > Texas
So dealing those schools out wouldn't make the Big 12 look worse. That's regarding on field performance, from a positive and national attention standpoint, Oklahoma and Texas are basically impossible to replace

It's also ignores that Oklahoma does it consistently every year whereas BYU and Cincy don't. But for the purposes of a single year metric, doesn't matter this year if you include them or not
