So the post about McBride saying Moa's schollie was pulled made me wonder

There has been so much talk over the last 8 years or so, that most of the top talent from the state of Utah has been leaving the state to play for other P5 teams.  Was it really because they wanted to play and experience life outside the state of Utah bubble and be out on their own, or was it because BYU was in limbo with Independence and they really didn't want to play for Utah?

This thought popped into my brain since we are seeing more players decommit from Utah, I'm sorry let me get this right, have more highly recruited players have their scholarships pulled, that are now committing to BYU.

With BYU's new P-5 status, will this reverse the trend where we see more of these highly rated state of Utah recruits stay home and choose BYU?  Now they can feel good about still playing for a P-5 instate team and not have to come out and say they really don't want to play for Utah?  They can stay home and have the real LDS P-5 experience and not the faux LDS P-5 experience at the SNOT.

I am going to go out on a limb and say yes.
