His question? Who would actually win in a fight between a cougar and a bear?

My first line of thought was...it depends on if this is a black bear, grizzly bear or polar bear. Well obviously you are not a polar bear. But what is Baylor? A black bear or a grizzly bear?

I believe the nimbleness and meat tearing teeth in a larger mouth of a cougar could take a black bear.

A grizzly could be real scary if it were to connect with a huge swatting paw/claws. But I think a cougar might have a chance if it could avoid that.

A polar bear would present the same thing with the swatting paw but also it would be so big that I think it could take several bites from a cougar and not have it even phase it.

So please help us out with this most serious of debates that needs to be figured out.
