I just moved to a place that's adjacent to a nature preserve and I'd like to get a pair of binocs that I can use off the porch to watch wildlife.

Under $500 your best bets are probably Vortex, Nikon, Leupold, or Burris

Can’t go wrong with Vortex. Solid quality at a reasonable price. You could always spend more but just to watch local

Vortex Diamondback HD. Great value and you won’t cry if you beat them up. Warranty is great too
