I'm sorry to dampen your hopes...but this isn't going to happen. First, Aranda isn't proven enough yet to be offered the LSU job. He's likely to be successful at Baylor but we went 2-7 last year. Secondly, Dave is very soft spoken and he does not have the brash personality that LSU likes in their coaches.

Lastly, one thing you will find out about Baylor is that we have great financial backing and we have leaders that know how to hire successful coaches. If Aranda moves on at some point...we will find his successor and he will be a good coach just as Briles (say what you want about him...he was a tremendous coach), Rhule and (potentially) Aranda have been and will be.
