When BYU corners backed off and have a nice cushion, the Bears went to the quick screen and the wide receiver had the corner one v one which the wr won repeatedly.
When BYU rolled the corners up to press, Baylor receivers ran slants and digs over the middle with the corner having to trail the play, because they are out of position to break on the ball.
My own thought is the front seven isn't going to get much better. It is what it is. Maybe the secondary can disguise coverages. Bottom line though is if the front seven struggles to apply pressure on the opposing qb and continually misses tackles, they are in for a long day every week. It is a recruiting/coaching issue
