Yes, there are talent/depth issues.
Yes, the scheme is problematic (especially for teams/QB's like Boise/Bachmier who are good at game planning and reading defenses).
Talent/depth issues can be somewhat overcome in the short run by better coaching and in the long run by showing recruits the better coaching and P5 status is good for their individual careers.
I don't think its remotely rational to say Tuiaki needs to be fired, nor is it rational to say defensive scheme/coaching isn't and hasn't been a problem for this coaching staff. It IS concerning that Sitake will never fire his best friend, but not many people will admit they are willing to fire their best friend. It doesn't mean it won't happen if needed.
Also, the offense has some significant issues too.
Hopefully, the apparent recruiting momentum from the pre-Boise game success will not decline too much from the poor performances.
The UVA game will be an interesting litmus test to see how the current staff prepares compared to Bronco and the gang.
