We’re a really good team this year, but not a great team. Last year’s was great, this team is talented but younger and it showed against Boise. I think we played our best possible football for the first five games of the seasons against good (but not great) opponents. It was fun, but wasn’t ever going to be sustainable for the entire year, and it’s now clear that Baylor was always going to be a loss.
Like I said though, the team is young and talented, and the future is bright. As for this year, I still foresee that we finish the regular season 9-3. Couple that with a win over Utah and that’s a successful year any way you slice it.
