In 2013 BYU played 7 P5s, if you include the bowl game.
UVA
Texas
Utah
Georgia Tech
Wisconsin
Notre Dame
Washington
Then of the G5s, BYU played:
Boise State
Houston
Utah State
Nevada
The first two at least are lower to mid-P5 caliber, and the other two aren’t slouches either. The only gimmes that year were Middle Tennessee and Idaho State.
Taysom and Jamaal stayed healthy that year ironically, but the rest of the roster was littered with injuries by the end.
