I never played football but I wouldn't guess there is a bunch of player development being done during the regular season.

I'd guess that game planning is already done and that a reduced staff can help implement it for the week.

Unless there are new play callers, I wouldn't expect much of a difference and even then ....

I'd like it to be a huge advantage but I'm not sure that BYU won't just get a very motivated staff and players hungry to come out and put all of this behind them.
