Picked a rental car up In Dallas but changed plans and dropping car off in Austi
What’s the best way to talk them down on change fees?
Call ahead, or just show up at Alamo in Austin and talk to them at the drop off?
Am not expecting to get off Scott free, just trying to minimize the damage…

I would assume that after the fact is the least effective.

Ha! Talk them down. Right, good luck with that. Rental car companies have all the leverage these days.
