It's nearly caught back up to the big 3, so that's cool.
I will say it's got some advantages over the standard GM trucks as their high end 6.2 that requires premium gas is their only engine that's better than that Toyota 3.5 turbo will be.
It should also be more efficient than Ram's 5.7 while performing a little better.
But after that it's nice to see Toyota getting close to Ford's 3.5 Eco right as Ford is set to release an all electric truck.

In 2007 I think the Tundra pushed the market, made the big 3 act to get better. It seems like this version gets Toyota

In my experience the Toyota engine/transmission/everything really is just much more durable and reliable...

The torque curve is perfect for towing, just not 10klbs up mountain passes at 80mph. I've never towed with
