I hate that the 6.2L needs premium. It is one thing to pop for premium on a sport sedan or even a supercharged,
mid-size SUV. But running it in a full size truck will be a weekly reminder of gas prices. Ultimately the difference in fuel costs is not really a budget breaker for most... but it is a very visible, moving target and when it is high it hurts to see.

In 2007 I think the Tundra pushed the market, made the big 3 act to get better. It seems like this version gets Toyota

In my experience the Toyota engine/transmission/everything really is just much more durable and reliable...
