My wife was working at the time, so it was just me and my 2 small kids. They were mostly behaved, with a few incidents at checkout, but overall just fine. I was packing them into the car when we were done, and unloading the groceries into trunk when an older lady approaches me.
She begins to tell me how strong I was and how admirable it was that I was able to do such a hard task.
I'm like "its just grocery shopping", thinking, does this women not think that a father can shop for groceries with his kids?
"Being a single father must be so difficult this day and age".....
Yes lady, the only possible reason a father is taking his kids grocery shopping is because there is no woman in the home to do so. He MUST be a single father if he's out shopping with his kids.
Sheesh.
