so many people are clueless when it comes to dogs.
I was talking with a mom at football practice last night regarding the families of two of the kids who played on our sons' team last year. They apparently live on the same street and a dog owned by one of the families viciously attacked a young son from the other family.
She showed me multiple videos from multiple angles that showed the owner of the dog racing to get her dog as it ran from the scene without even pausing to check on the small boy who had been screaming for his life and was bloodied on the ground.
I just don't get it. Then the owner's response when asked about it by a reporter was that her own children were suffering as well because the dog had been confiscated.
I don't know what to think.
I know the lady and thought of her as a decent person. After hearing the story of her dog, however, I'm not sure what to think anymore.
The dog is still being held by authorities and the lady still wants to try to get her dog back.
I googled it and found this story that was reported on local news when t happened last spring.
