It’s easy to connect a lot more to that…
Unless you live on a farm or something there is zero reason to have a dog that big…
they are no better taking abuse by being locked up in confined spaces for expended periods of time only to be jerked around in a 30 minute walk every once in a while… and a park visit once ever week or two…
The pretend world big dog owners live in that makes them think the big dog likes living in a 2 bedroom apt is another component of the garbage comment along with the likely scenarios of that dog harming someone else…
There is a litany of poor outcomes for big dogs in highly populated areas…
I’ll continue… in my experience there has been a pretty clear connection to excessive pet ownership including large dogs and very poor financial decisions…
dogs truly become people’s primary social relationship… so much so people call them their kids… you know the dog you lock up days at a time, take out on walks now and then, leave in kennels if their lucky, force to stay in cages, dress ridiculously, and spend tons of money on in medication, food, higher monthly rent fees, healthcare… on and on… until many people can’t pay for their life style… yet are unwilling to budge on the expensive pet expense…. That is their primary social interaction since they are unable to have a healthy relationship with an actual person you can treat the same inconsistent lackadaisical way….
Yep, not a fan of many pet people (not all… oddly enough I had a dog as a kid and loved it… there is a right way to do it… many don’t do it that way though)
