that was my first thought. Then it was explained with more detail.
Apparently the kid passed out for a moment and went completely silent around the time that the owner got near. I was shown enough angles that compared the screaming, the passing truck, and the owner. The reason the parents are concerned about the dog owner disregarding their son is because that's what a compilation of the videos shows. The owner continues to disregard the victim by sobbing about her 2 children being without their dog because it was taken to a shelter.
Maybe I'm heartless, but crying about a dog being taken away after it viciously mauls a little kid is tone deaf and disgusting.
