One of the issues with dog ownership is that many dog haters confuse friendly
barking with aggressive barking.
Not saying this is the case in the original post, but it happens.
For example we have a small dog that barks when it gets excited and pulls on the leash....it basically wants to play. I get that not everyone is a dog lover so we control it with a leash or whatever, but just want to put that out there that there is a difference.
