The primary battery manufacturer in China has apparently been unwilling to meet apples requirements.
CATL, the world's No.1 maker of batteries for EVs, has been reluctant to build a U.S. factory due to political tensions between Washington and Beijing as well as cost concerns,
fascinating that Apple is demanding a dedicated team, a US factory, and a few other things and the Chinese manufacturer is saying they can't. We're just too volatile and expensive.
