Saw School of Rock (the musical) at the Tuacahn tonight. It was one of the best shows I have seen there in our 11 years
of being season ticket holders. The guy who played Dewey Finn nailed Jack Black's character, and the kids who played the students have a ton of talent on their respective instruments.
Jonathan Wagner is who played Dewey Finn. He was the understudy for the character on Broadway. The amount of time he has put into mimicking the way Jack Black moves and sings was obvious.
It was the season finale tonight for the show. I believe tomorrow night is their last production for the whole season before starting Thriller. They had Annie, Beauty and the Beast, The Count of Monte Cristo, and School of Rock this year.
