So, in our ward, (preCovid), several of the young women said they would babysit FOR FREE when couples went to the Temple. NOTE, we are two hour drive from Temple, so that is a 6 hour commitment at the least, and usually more like 8 hour.

I always felt weird about that, and would never have taken them up on that offer.... (our kids were bigger at the time, and didn't need babysitting).

BUT at the same time, some leaders said that the girls were using it as Service Project for Young Women in Excellence program, and so NOT letting them kind of took away a service opportunity.

I don't know ... I think as a young couple, it might be a huge help, but I also think I would never accept the free babysitting.
