UHSAA is having a difficult time providing officials for all the required games.
Once you get to the playoffs it’s not such an issue because not everyone is playing, and so the officials working are usually pretty good.
But during the regular season (and especially at Ute Conference little league games) it’s not easy anymore to find grown men who want to go get treated like they are the scum of the earth by parents for $50 a game.
