3-3-5 was what was needed. Not amazing pressure but deLaura did not have open guys on every play. Long balls were not open . One pick by Moore and two drops. Good execution on two point conversion led to a key stop.
Borghoff ran a bit but did lmuch less against a six man box than Allgeir did against a 7 or 8 man box. Our backers read the handoffs to Borghi well and closed quickly. The game plan was right for WSU and well executed.
Other than Allgeier offense not highly productive but WSU had best corners that we have faced. Hall did not make mistakes though he has passed better. Good win. Enjoyed it in person with five brothers and some nephews who graduated from WSU
