UC is a very local brand, not even really a regional brand in the Midwest, that isn't gonna tilt TV numbers or visiting fan numbers anywhere close to the impact of BYU on both TV ratings and attendance at away games. BYU will boost attendance at every Big 12 locale and boost ratings. You saw our ratings vs. BYU. Put us on against most other schools other than OU and Texas in that same timeslot and you basically take away close to 1 million viewers.

BYU has active fan participation from both an attendance and TV watching standpoint, moreso than any of the other 4 additions and basically more than pretty much any of the 8 leftovers.”
