04 season, I couldn't believe the change in our program, it was unbelievable. Players had been kicked out of school for rape allegations. We lost at home to UNLV and UNM that year, let that sink in. We were absolutely manhandled by the yewts. It was a very, very dark place for BYU football. I'm glad that Bronco accepted the job and started the rebuild. Crowton left a lot of talent and Bronco used that for an amazing run from 06-09. The transition from Anae to Doman as OC was disastrous as was the OL after 09, it went from a point of strength to a constant weakness, but we still went to bowl games every year and beat the teams we were supposed to beat (besides the yewts). I'll be cheering for him when he runs out of that tunnel Saturday night, he did great things for our school. Please don't boo, he doesn't deserve that.
